Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) needs to be secured but many embedded devices lack capabilities for robust crypto tasks. Secure elements allow for offloading complex crypto operations to external, protected hardware. We present a concept for transparently accessing multiple secure elements behind a unified API in an IoT OS.
